GRAVITY - An overwhelming need to speak when there's no one around!
I was skeptical – go or not to go. What may happen in space, two space stations collide, the
stream of asteroids or meteors falls down on Earth, beforehand they destroy the
space shutter – Discovery, kill all of them … what may happen in space … I
thought.Well, I found
out that lots of things may happen in space, I learnt we all have such a space
all around, smaller or bigger …. It all depends on Us, our attitude. The film I
watched on Thursday is a mixture of images, conversation, music … somewhere in the
background, somewhere in space.Dr Stone had her
endless space, when she started drifting in space, she realized that it maybe
her destination unknown, her fatal fate. Luckily it wasn’t. The space that is
so wonderful in the books, so beautifully portrayed in writings appeared with
the naked eye as fearful, dreadful, horrifying abyss. Her friend Kowalsky made
his choice, let himself being drifted far out into endless matter – where life
doesn’t exist, where he dies within minutes. He saved her. He knew she will
handle with her “safe trip home”.The overall
movie is great, the special effects, the music, all the visualizations – but the
best part of it are dialogues, monologues, the need to talk when there’s no one
around. The need of conversation seems
to be futile nowadays, FB is enough to click “I like it”. I bet the astronauts who
were left out there, if they had had FB they would have clicked “F*** it”.
Needless to say - Words created this
movie. Highly recommend.
