Elysium – with Jodie Foster appeared
to be a great movie, worth to see. Modern sci-fi some says, yes, correct. But is
has some notion as well. It presents two worlds – better and worse, the worse
is the Earth, of course, overpopulated, overcrowded, full of diseases and
contamination. Nothing to be proud of. The better is Elysium - where people never die, never get older, live in beautiful villas, out of problems, out of troubles, so-called privileged ones. There are two characters, one played by Foster
who guards Elysium – by no means of from the Earth inhabitants, no one can
enter this place without her permission, and on one does, it is simply a place
for chosen, well-offs, better people. She pays the price, the price for her intransigence.
The second played by Matt Damon – who wants to break-through to Elysium, to
fight for his life, to fight for a life of a small girl, and maybe love he once
had a chance to win.
The movie shows disproportions of
the two non-mutual worlds, coexisting separately.
There were some scary moments for
me, I was afraid to watch it, nonetheless I highly recommend this movie.
